First Meeting on April 28, 1999:

Meeting was held in New York Life building located on 27 East 27th Street at 6:30pm. 

Highlights:       

    - To determine how many boats is Xtreme NY having in 1999

    - Who will be our sponsor for 1999

    - Introduction of team management

    - Gather information of each team member (both returning and new)

Second Meeting on May 26, 1999:

Meeting was held in New York Life building located on 27 East 27th Street at 6:30pm.

Introduction:  

   The first order was introduction among new and returning team members.  We are happy to announce we have approximately 16 new members joining Xtreme NY in this year. 

Management Responsibilties:   

    The panel at Xtreme NY is reponsibled for all the planning and execution of the entire welfare of Xtreme NY.  The five panel members are Carol Chang, Kenneth Chang, Kang Ko, Jeffrey Lee-Nong, and Stephen Leung.  All questions are directed to any one of these members.  If you need to contact anyone of us, please email us at [email protected].

Team member responsibilties:

    As a Xtreme team member, you are responsibled for being on time for practice, being there for practice, and being there at the team meetings.   There are only nine weeks of practice for the Dragon Boat race.  Absences are not allowed.  If you must, you need to inform the management of any absences.   This is only fair to the team and especially your team members who are relying on you.  This is a team sport and we work as a team.

Times and Dates:

    - Start Date is 6/6/99.

    - Race Date is 8/7-8/99.

    - The practice sessions are held at 10:00am to 2:00pm on every Sunday.

    - There are no practices on July 4th weekend.

Place:

    - The practices are held in Flushing Meadow Corona Park Pond in Flushing Meadows Park, Queens.

Fees:

We are not accepting fees at this moment.  Xtreme NY is still trying work out a deal with our sponsors.  The management is working toward a fee free environment for all Xtreme members for the Dragon Boat race.  The results will be announced at a later point.

Uniforms:

The management is still working on the design.  We have came to a conclusion that it will be a Tank-top this year.  The results will be announced at a later point.

Waiver Forms:

All team members needs to sign waiver forms.  If you have not done so, please contact one of the panel members.  This is important!!!
